1. Who we are
RefurbMatch is an independent matching platform that connects homeowners and property owners ("customers") with vetted contractors ("contractors") in London and Essex. We are not party to any contract for works entered into between you and a contractor.
2. Using RefurbMatch
You must be 18 or over and provide accurate information when posting a job or signing up as a contractor. You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, to circumvent our matching process, or to contact other users outside of the channels we provide.
3. Job posts
By posting a job you authorise RefurbMatch to review your details and share them with one or more vetted contractors who have paid to unlock the job. Your name, full address and phone number remain hidden from contractors until you accept a match.
4. Contractors
Contractors are independent businesses. We carry out reasonable vetting checks but we do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of any work carried out. Always agree a written quote and contract directly with the contractor before work begins.
5. Payments
RefurbMatch is free for customers. Contractors pay to unlock leads and to access certain features. All such fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RefurbMatch is not liable for any loss, damage or dispute arising out of work carried out by a contractor introduced via the platform.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of RefurbMatch after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
